It's been five years since we last heard a peep out of them but The Scottish Enlightenment have returned with a neat little 7" treat snuck out on the lovely, Box Bedroom Rebels label. A limited edition (250) 4 track 7" complete with inserts and an envelope containing a download code, letter, fortune telling fish(!) & Confetti. Isn't it pretty...

This release is almost a compilation, featuring 1 track from the debut LP, a brand new unheard track called 'The Strong Force' - it's a beauty by the way - and 2 tracks from the band's Toad Session including the unreleased, 'Black Dog'.

Whether or not this release signifies that we'll be hearing more of The Scottish Enlightenment in 2015 remains to be seen, elusive little buggers. Get onto this little package though, it's so lovingly made and a reminder of just how great this band is.
