The Hazey Janes // June Tour and New Single

There's been a flutter of activity in camp Hazey Janes since the band re-emerged in March this year with their stormin' single, 'The Fathom Line'. Greeted by five-star reviews and a string of plays on the wireless, it's safe to say the excitement is buzzing here at Armellodie Towers for the release of the new album, Language of Faint Theory, on Monday 2nd June.

Mmm mmm mmm look at that gorgeous vinyl. Speaking of which, Matthew from the band has written a really great piece about growing up listening to music on vinyl over at The Vinyl District, and it's well worth a read.

If after that you're still twiddling your thumbs you can have a listen to Alice and Andrew chatting with Jim Gellatly on what was to be his final In:Demand Uncut show before he jumped ship to XFM Scotland. Where he also spun 'The Fathom Line' as a Breakout track on his drive-time show. Good lad Jim!

Today we're pleased to announce that the second single from the album will be 'If Ever There Is Gladness' to be released on the 25th May, free of charge! The track has already been playlisted at BBC Radio Scotland and you can hear it on the iPlayer via The Culture Show with Janice Forsyth (1:28:00) and/or Morton Through Midnight (0:40:35) for the next 7 days and hopefully many other shows from here on in. We hope you like it.

In celebration of the new album and all this Hazeyness, the band are taking to the road for a run of dates around bonnie Scotland in June. Get yourself along if you can, they're sure to be pretty special.
